You definitely sometimes run into an attitude in the league about a woman playing, but it's only in the minors that I've heard 6,329 people (a sellout crowd in St. Paul) chanting my name and cheering for me when I take the mound. I hate to say it, but after being hassled for so long, it gives me chicken skin to hear the PA in every city play Roy Orbison's "Pretty Woman" or the Doors' "Love Her Madly" every time I run out of the bullpen to pitch.
